Online Cricket ID (2026): The Complete Guide to Exchanges, Markets and Getting Yours

Everything a first-time or returning player needs to understand before opening an online cricket ID in India: what the ID is, how exchange and bookmaker accounts differ, which markets you will actually see on screen, how money goes in and comes out, where the law stands, and how to tell a reliable provider from a risky one.

What an online cricket ID is

An online cricket ID is a login, a username and password, on a betting exchange or bookmaker website. The account behind that login holds a balance, and from it you place bets on cricket and, on most platforms, on other sports and live casino tables. Indian players say "cricket ID" rather than "betting account" because cricket dominates the betting volume and because the IDs are mostly sold by word of mouth around cricket.

Three things make the Indian version of this different from, say, opening a Betfair account in the UK. First, the platforms do not sign up Indian users directly; accounts are created in bulk by agents and handed out. Second, your deposits and withdrawals do not go to the platform; they go through the agent, who credits your ID. Third, the whole relationship runs on WhatsApp. That is why the person you get the ID from matters as much as the platform.

Short version: the platform gives you the markets; the provider gives you the money rails and the support. Judge both.

Exchange ID, bookmaker ID and casino ID: what you are actually buying

Exchange-style ID

On an exchange you bet against other users. You can back an outcome (bet it happens) or lay it (bet it does not), and the price is whatever someone on the other side is willing to accept. The platform takes a commission on your net winnings in each market, commonly a few percent. Because you can lay, you can also trade: back India at 1.90 before the toss, lay at 1.60 after a good powerplay, and lock a profit regardless of result. Dream444, Dubaiexch247, Gold365, Lotus365, Laser247, 11xplay and Sky Exchange are built on this model, usually as white-labels of the same few back-end engines, which is why their screens look alike.

Bookmaker-style ID

A book sets the price and takes the other side of your bet itself. No commission, but the margin is inside the odds, and prices move more slowly. Books are simpler, often friendlier to small casual stakes, and more likely to limit an account that keeps winning. Reddy Anna Book, Mahadev Book, Jeetbet247 and Apbook365 lean this way, though several now offer exchange tabs too.

Casino ID

Most platforms bundle live dealer tables (teen patti, andar bahar, roulette, baccarat) and slots behind the same login. A "casino ID" is usually just the same account with the casino lobby enabled. The maths of casino games is fixed against you in a way cricket odds are not, so treat it as a separate budget.

Markets you will see on screen, explained

MarketWhat you are betting onNotes for new players
Match oddsWhich team wins the match. Two or three runners (draw in Tests). Most liquid market; best place to compare prices across platforms.
BookmakerSame winner market, but priced by the platform with a wider margin and the option to bet in-play when the exchange is suspended.Convenient, more expensive over time.
Fancy / sessionRuns in a set of overs (e.g. 6-over, 10-over, 15-over runs), runs at fall of next wicket, a batter's total, a bowler's wickets. You bet "Yes" (over the line) or "No" (under).Settles ball by ball. Rules on abandoned sessions differ by platform; read them.
TossWho wins the toss.A coin flip with a margin. Fine for fun, poor as a strategy.
Player propsTop batter, top bowler, player of the match.Thin liquidity on exchanges; usually book-priced.
OutrightsTournament winner, series winner.Money is locked for weeks; consider that against withdrawal needs.

Two habits save money: compare match odds on two IDs before a big game, and read the fancy settlement rules on your platform once, properly, instead of learning them from a dispute.

Why ID providers exist, and what a good one does

Providers exist because the platforms cannot or will not run Indian payments directly. The provider holds a master account on the platform, creates sub-accounts (your ID) under it, collects your deposit by UPI or bank transfer, credits the ID, and pays your withdrawals from their own float. That structure means your real counterparty is the provider.

A good provider does five things you can check in the first conversation: names the platform your ID will be on; puts the minimum deposit, deposit route and withdrawal timing in writing on the chat; uses a payment account that matches what they just told you; answers during a live match, not only in office hours; and processes a small test withdrawal without excuses. GameWin247 is a provider, so this is also the standard we are asking you to hold us to. Our process is laid out in How to get a cricket ID.

Deposits and withdrawals in detail

Putting money in

Deposits are UPI (PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm, BHIM) or IMPS/NEFT to an account the provider shares at that moment. Accounts change often because banks freeze gaming-linked accounts, so a provider sending a new account is normal; a provider sending a different account than the one they just confirmed is not. Always send the UTR or transaction screenshot on the chat. Credit is usually within minutes; delays happen when the bank holds the transfer or during peak IPL hours.

Bonuses

Deposit bonuses carry turnover conditions. A "100% bonus" that requires you to bet ten times the amount before withdrawing is not free money. Ask for the condition in writing and decide with a calculator, not a feeling.

Taking money out

You request a withdrawal on the chat; the provider debits your ID and transfers to the same bank or UPI you deposited from. Payout windows vary by provider; ours are stated on the chat before your first deposit. Settled balance only: if a session or match market is still open, that stake cannot be withdrawn until the platform settles it.

When a withdrawal is slow

In order of likelihood: a market still open, a bonus condition not yet met, a bank-side hold, or a provider float problem. The first three are explainable with a screenshot. The fourth is why you test with small amounts before you trust anyone with large ones.

Choosing a platform and a provider

Platform: compare match-odds margins on two or three exchanges for the same fixture; check how quickly fancy markets settle; load the site on 4G during a live game; look at per-market stake limits; and read the bonus terms. Our platform pages, such as Dream444, Dubaiexch247, Gold365 and Reddy Anna Book, cover these points one platform at a time.

Provider: apply the five checks from the previous section. Then make a small deposit, place a small bet, and request a small withdrawal within a day. The outcome of that one test tells you more than any review.

Where the law stands in India

There is no single national answer. Gambling is a state subject under the Constitution, and the colonial Public Gambling Act of 1867 says nothing about the internet. Several states have passed their own laws restricting online real-money games, among them Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, while Sikkim and Nagaland run licensing regimes for certain games. In 2025 Parliament passed the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, which drew a hard line against online money games nationally and put advertising and payment facilitation for them under restriction. The platforms Indian players use are typically licensed offshore and operate in that gap.

What this means for a player: you are operating in a grey zone whose shade depends on your state; you have no consumer-protection route if a provider or platform does not pay; and bank accounts that show frequent gaming-linked transfers can be frozen for review. None of that is a reason to pretend the activity does not exist. It is a reason to be 18 or older, to keep stakes at a level you can lose without consequence, and to work only with a provider who behaves transparently.

Five red flags that end the conversation: a new payment account on every message; pressure to deposit before a match starts; bonuses that double your balance; refusal to write down withdrawal terms; and not telling you which platform the ID is on.

Online cricket ID questions, answered

How is an online cricket ID different from a fantasy app account?

Fantasy apps (Dream11, My11Circle) are skill-game contests run by Indian companies under Indian law. A cricket ID is a real-odds betting account on an offshore exchange or book, obtained through a provider. Different products, different legal footing, different risk.

Which exchange is best for beginners?

One with a simple layout, fast session settlement and a provider who will explain the screen to you. In our experience Laser247 and Goexchange are easier first screens; Dream444 and Lotus365 reward players who already understand lay betting. See each platform page for details.

Can I lose more than my deposit?

On most Indian-facing exchanges, no: your exposure is limited to the balance in the ID. On lay bets the platform blocks the liability from your balance before accepting the bet.

What is a "demo ID"?

A login with play-money balance to learn the screen. Useful for ten minutes. It tells you nothing about deposits, withdrawals or support, which are the things that go wrong.

Why do so many exchanges look identical?

Most are white-labels of a handful of back-end engines. The brand, the provider network and the settlement culture differ; the software often does not.

How much should I start with?

The minimum the provider states, and no more, until you have completed one withdrawal successfully. Then decide based on a monthly entertainment budget, not on a hot streak.

Do I pay tax on winnings?

Indian law taxes winnings from betting and gambling at a flat 30% under Section 115BB, without deductions, and payments received in your bank account are visible to the department. Take professional advice for your situation.

Can my ID be closed?

Yes, by the platform (for rule breaches or consistent arbitrage) or by the provider (for abusive behaviour or chargeback attempts). A reputable provider pays out your settled balance when closing.

Is WhatsApp safe for this?

It is end-to-end encrypted, which protects the chat in transit. The risk is the person on the other side, not the app. Save the chat, never share your ID password in it, and change the password after the ID is handed over.

What does GameWin247 charge?

Nothing on top of your deposit. Providers earn from the platform side (commission share on turnover). If a provider asks for a separate fee to create an ID, that is unusual.
